Our Community
The key to creating a bright future for our community lies in embracing our sense of belonging to the land, continuing culture, and maintaining support for a safe place for our people to reflect and heal any hurt incurred throughout their journeys. We seek to care and nurture future generations and leaders with knowledge from our Aboriginal Elders, and by maintaining accessibility to history, arts and culture.
Beananging Kwuurt Institute is currently surrounded by a culturally diverse community who have showed an immense interest in our Community. We embrace this opportunity to introduce, acknowledge, share and preserve our Aboriginal Culture and Connection to our land in Queens Park with all those other cultures who wish to engage and become friends of BKI. We are passionate about creating connections across all cultures, giving Aboriginal people space to tell our stories our way, about our Proud Traditional Ownership of this Land. We aim to bring hope to our land and community by providing the strong leadership and governance needed to enable us to successfully achieve our goals of Refurbish, Renew, Rebuild and Security – and to create a Proud, Confident, Powerful, Historic Aboriginal Cultural Community. |
